Final Forms Required as Beaufort Eagles Volleyball Tryouts Begin

Posted on July 30, 2026July 30, 2026 by BeaufortLionsClub Staff

Beaufort High School is set to begin tryouts for its women’s volleyball program this week, with the first session scheduled for tomorrow morning, July 30, from 6:00 to 7:30 a.m.

The Beaufort Eagles Athletics program shared the announcement on Facebook, encouraging student-athletes to be ready for an early start to tryouts.

Additional tryout sessions will follow on July 31 and August 3, both running from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. The mix of early morning and late afternoon time slots gives coaches a chance to evaluate players across different conditions and gives student-athletes multiple opportunities to show their skills before the team is finalized.

Final Forms Required Before Stepping on the Court

Before any player can participate, the school is requiring that all student-athletes have their paperwork fully completed, signed, and approved through the Final Forms system.

This includes health and physical documentation, parental consent, and other eligibility requirements that South Carolina high schools typically require before allowing students to try out for a sport.

The athletics department made clear that this step is not optional. According to the social media post promoting the tryouts, submitting these forms is described as the first step toward making the team, meaning players who show up without completed paperwork could be turned away regardless of their volleyball ability.

Parents and students are being urged to check their Final Forms accounts well ahead of each session to avoid any last-minute issues.

Coach Marlena Pegula Leading the Program

Overseeing this year’s tryouts is Coach Marlena Pegula, who has been designated as the primary contact for any questions from players or families. Those with concerns about scheduling, eligibility, or the tryout process can reach her directly by email at Marlena.pegula@beaufort.k12.sc.us.

The Beaufort Eagles volleyball program is looking to build on its roster for the upcoming season, and tryouts represent a critical window for coaches to assess talent, conditioning, and teamwork among hopeful athletes. With three separate tryout dates spread across more than a week, the coaching staff appears to be giving prospective players ample opportunity to demonstrate their readiness.

Student-athletes interested in joining the program are encouraged to arrive early, bring proper gear, and most importantly, ensure their Final Forms paperwork is squared away before stepping onto the court. As the July 30 session approaches, excitement is building around the Beaufort Eagles volleyball community as the new season begins to take shape.
